Triangles has been in existence since 1937, and for over sixty years there has been a world service organization called Triangles striving to bring together the thought power of men and women of goodwill. The idea is so simple and yet so powerful that great changes have already occurred in the world because of its service. The method called Triangles involves three people agreeing to work together mentally each day and invoking the power of light and goodwill in service to humanity. They form a mental triangle that represents the universal symbol of Divinity. The triangle acts as: a channel for the circulation of constructive thought; a way to change the spiritual climate of the planet; a distributor of spiritual energies that lift, and transform, human consciousness.

People from every religion, philosophy, race, nation and political conviction are working in the Triangles network demonstrating the power of thought which transcends all differences of outer beliefs. Humanity is one and as we work together in thought we work in our essential oneness. The location of the triangle members is unimportant. You need only link together for a few moments daily in thought to maintain the triangle.

To create a triangle, three people visualize their triangle's focal points energized by the energies of goodwill and light and place it in the global network of light. At the same time each person says a world prayer such as The Great Invocation that expresses the energies of light, love, and goodwill. This Invocation used around the world has Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, and Jewish versions for the different names of the World Teacher, Christ, Lord Maitreya, Krishna, Imam Mahdi, Messiah.
